Current and former champions head the list of stars to make appearances in autograph sessions and other fan interactions at second UFC Fan Expo
Pulling out all the stops for just the third Fan Expo in the promotion's history, the Ultimate Fighting Championship has released a list of names of the first set of fighters confirmed for appearances at the upcoming UFC Fan Expo that takes place on August 28th and 29th in Boston, MA in conjunction with the promotion's UFC 118 pay-per-view event.
Among those confirmed to attend are current UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva, UFC Hall of Famer Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell, WEC Lightweight Champion Ben Henderson, WEC Bantamweight Champion Dominick Cruz, UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Mauricio "Shogun" Rua, former UFC Light Heavyweight Champions Tito Ortiz and Forrest Griffin, former WEC Featherweight Champion Urijah Faber, Carlos Condit, Clay Guida, Cole Miller, Efrain Escudero, Gabriel Gonzaga, Jon Jones, Josh Grispi, Kurt Pellegrino, Matt Hamill, Martin Kampmann, Pat Barry, Roy Nelson, Thiago Alves, Anthony Johnson, Ricardo Almeida, and Renzo Gracie.
More fighter appearances are expected to be announced by the promotion as the two-day event draws closer.
The first UFC Fan Expo took place in Las Vegas prior to the landmark UFC 100 event last July with the second coming in May, coinciding with the UFC 114 event over Memorial Day Weekend. The previous Expo events have featured numerous autograph sessions, question and answer periods, instructional seminars, grappling superfights, exhibits on apparel, gear, nutritional supplements, fitness equipment, lifestyle products and more and the upcoming event in Boston will be no different.
Hot on the heels of the Boston UFC Fan Expo event, it is believed that the UFC 120 event scheduled for England on October 16th will feature the first-ever UK UFC Fan Expo
